Last month I got a little touchy-feely with my newsletter, this month I thought I would stick to “The Facts”, the facts about Spokane real estate.
Median Sales Price February 2015 by area:
Valley - $225,900
South - $219,475
Northwest - $184,833
Northeast - $133,766
West Plains - $149,606
Total market median sales price is $165,000. That is up 6.5% from last year at this time.
Closed sales are up 16.4% from last year at this time. (That translates to... my phone ringing off the hook.)
Real estate is looking really good right now. Not only are the median home prices up, interest rates are still incredibly low. When I bought my first house most 15 years ago I was excited to get 8% interest rate now the interest-rate for new homes are more like 3.75%.
If you want to take advantage of this great real estate market give me or one of my team members a call.
